Easy Neck Stretch

Did you know that sleep can play a role in neck and shoulder pain? While it hasn’t been proven 100%, some researchers believe that sleep disturbances disrupt the muscle relaxation and healing that normally occur during sleep…which, needless to say then leads to a vicious cycle of pain disrupting sleep, and sleep problems contributing to pain.

And while neck and shoulder pain might not be the primary reason for your inability to get a good night’s rest, regular stretching to relieve muscle tension is definitely a good place to start – Which is why we’ve invited our good friend and physical therapist, Dr. Kai Morigawara, to show us an easy neck stretch that you can do while working in front of the computer or in the comfort of your own home. Enjoy!
